Ishpingo statuette, 'Grand Elephant' (Peru)

John Barrow masterfully captures the strong, regal essence of an elephant. He carves it by hand, creating a puzzle-like effect with ishpingo wood. He uses different colors for some of the wood segments, resulting in an original masterpiece.
